I could NOT handle my
when I laid eyes on
this huntress sweater
cowl scarf.
It was love at
first sight
when I first saw it on
Katniss in
Catching Fire a few days
Then I got in this
forest / huntress /
Robin Hood /
warrior mode
was feeling really
I can't decide which boots I
am in love with more.
I think I actually gasped
out loud when I
saw those
gleaming spikes.
And the suede
colored ones?
You're welcome.

I am totally in love
with these items I have on the blog today!
I fell head over heels for the belted western
booties pictured on
top and was really inspired
to let my inner country girl out.
They sparkle and shine in the
most delicate and delicious
I found the booties on Etsy
and immediately
 had to have a pair!
I was hesitant to jump on the fringe
trend but I think when done in
a subtle way
it can be very rocker-cool
Less heroine chic
more Carly Simon.
The sweater I featured is
not what I picture to
be western or hippie....
but it is so dang pretty!
And an AWESOME steal.

Call me crazy.
But I love these pants.
I am usually a print/pattern kind of girl anyways
but I don't think I actually own
this crazy of a print on a pant.
The color and design just spoke to me
and I couldn't tear myself away, I
kept going back and clicking on them asking
myself "Should I? Shouldn't I?"
I put them in my cart on Hautelook
and quickly checked out before
I could change my mind.
Since they ARE so loud, I plan
to wear with a plain white tee and I'm
loving the badass moto jacket above!
I may have to steal that idea.
How would you would wear them and/or
how you'd style them?!

What a perfect accessory to any skirt/shorts outfit!
You can be as daring or as subtle as your
little heart
Prints are still so on trend, whether it's stripes, dots, hearts,
arrows, bows, or stars.
The ombre effect is still showing its face and
isn't going anywhere
anytime soon.
Don't be afraid to wear your tights with
open toe heels either!
Both of the ombre colors above get me
totally excited for thigh
skimming hemlines this fall/winter.
I cannot decide which color
I like best.

That chilly snowy weather is upon us
and one of my favorite things to do is accessorize in the
A soft caramel colored thick knit beanie is relaxed, carefree, and cool and the black bow
is just so dang dainty and pretty.
It screams charm school chic and adds
just a touch of feminine.
Pair that beanie with a fitted flannel top, skinnies, and
chunky knit scarf for coffee shop cool.
Match the pretty pony with a winter white cardigan, skater
skirt, tights, and booties and you'll be making your way
to the head of the class.

Let's take a moment to give thanks to style maven
Steve Madden.
I think we can agree that he has touched our lives and our wardrobes
and has forever
left a lasting impression on us all.
He's got color, class, creativeness, the clout, and above all else
the style.
Shown here are the Steve Madden Faraa pumps in pink
and the Metallic Paneled Satchel in Camel by Pink Cosmo.
Camel, gold, metallic, and pink are so warm and lovely
together and work with any skin tone.
Remember, metallic is a neutral and can
be paired with most anything!

And gone to heaven.
 I mean...I just can't.
The lace, the polka dots, the jewels, the nail color, and THAT bag!
This look works on so many levels.
Let's start with the outfit : when prints are subtle and small enough, they can be mixed together to create a passionate love affair.
The tiny polka dots in a classic white and black married together with that creamy timeless floral lace is amaze.
The gold / pearl / diamond combo on the jeweled baubles is glam without screaming "overkill" because the color palette is left at a neutral.
That taupey-beige nail color ties in the cream / black / tan color palette beautifully.
And last, but by far the most least, is the delicious clutch.
It's almost like that perfectly worn-in, soft, beaten up, vintage leather clutch that is an all time stand-by.
It goes with any color imaginable and is classic beyond its years.
Too pretty for words, this one.

Talk about a shoe of the day!
My mint obsession is still in full effect and add a metallic gold bow? ::swoon::
Even on a cold snowy day, these way too pretty kicks fill me with joy and warmth and make me feel all tingly all over.
I am in love.
All the time.
Pair with some white skinnies and a blush colored cape for work.
Pair with a sheer crisp white blouse and a fur vest for play.
(I'm obsessed with a creamy white/mint combo)
To be honest...pair these with ANYTHING!

Above, I snapped a picture of some accessories I put together that I just love! My favorite color is mint green - I'm obsessed.
I love pairing unexpected colors together so the neon yellow and diamante necklace
was an obvious choice for me.
The soft, crisp, freshness of mint just pairs so well with any skin tone. Fair skinned to olive toned, this hue brightens you right up and it also compliments
pretty much any wardrobe color palette.
Another favorite mint combo is with a splattering of cobalt blue or
the classic cool white.
